Hello, I'm Nazareth Castillo

I'm a medical graduate from the Iberoamerican University, and a Breastfeeding Consultant.

I worked in Puntarenas for 13 years with the CCSS, but with the birth of my son Marcelo 6 years ago, a great passion for breastfeeding was born in me.

I started my studies in breastfeeding in 2018 with a certification as a Breastfeeding Educator at the Edupro Academy.

Subsequently in 2021, I obtained a Postgraduate degree in Breastfeeding and Human Milk Banks from the Autonomous University of Barcelona.

In 2023, I completed a certification as a BLW / BLISS Complementary Feeding Consultant from the Lactar Group.

This same year, with the idea of complementing my studies and also applying it in my life as a mother, I decided to certify myself as a Positive Discipline Family Educator.

This year 2025 I completed a Master's degree in Pediatrics and Childcare from FINTECH BUSINESS & MEDICAL SCHOOL, with the aim of always seeking the best for my patients.

I am convinced, from my own experience and from everything I learned in that journey, that mothers need unconditional support and empowerment that allows us to fully enjoy the beautiful period of breastfeeding.

That's why, as a medical professional in breastfeeding and as a mother of a breastfeeding child for almost 6 years, I make myself available to all mothers, and thus be able to return the support, guidance and empowerment that I once needed and received.

I am also an active member of the Breastfeeding Promotion Association in CR.
