Dr. Daniela Zamora
Hello! My name is Daniela Zamora. I am a clinical psychologist, a mom of two girls, and deeply passionate about supporting people through their processes of change, healing, and personal growth.
In my work, I integrate evidence-based psychology, mindfulness, and practical emotional regulation tools, helping people better understand their thoughts, emotions, and inner patterns in order to create real and sustainable change. I work from a cognitive-behavioral approach and third-wave therapies, integrating practices of mindfulness, self-compassion, and nervous system regulation.
I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, a specialization in Positive Psychology from the Flourishing Center in New York, and I am certified in Mindfulness and Meditation by the Nalanda Institute and the Awareness Training Institute at the University of California, Berkeley. I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Trauma and I am certified in EMDR, a therapeutic approach specialized in the treatment and processing of traumatic experiences.
Along my personal path, I have also experienced firsthand the impact that difficult and challenging moments can have. I have had the privilege of accompanying others through times of transition, challenge, or personal searching, and I have learned that emotional well-being is not about “fixing ourselves,” but about developing inner tools that allow us to relate to ourselves and to life with greater awareness, compassion, and balance—and to move through adversity.
These experiences have strengthened something that guides my work today: the certainty that storms will always come in life, but that when we have the right tools, we can learn to get through them with greater strength, awareness, and resilience.
Through therapy, workshops, group programs, and talks, my intention is to support people in developing the emotional, cognitive, and psychological resources they need to navigate life's challenges with greater clarity, balance, and emotional well-being.
I deeply believe that when we cultivate greater emotional awareness and learn to regulate our inner world, we can navigate life's challenges with greater well-being and confidence.
